Tarn
A calm hub for your day, on an iPad by the desk or the TV in the room.
For iPad and Apple TV, with widgets for iPhone and CarPlay · on TestFlight
Stand an iPad on your desk and Tarn shows your day as glass tiles over a backdrop that follows the time and the weather. It changes scene on its own through the day, from a gentle morning to a dim clock at night, and asks for your attention only when a timer finishes.
Scenes
- Morning shows the time, the weather, what’s on today and what’s due.
- Day fills the screen with the tiles you choose, in the sizes you choose.
- Night is a dim, warm clock and tomorrow’s first event, with no tiles and nothing moving.
- Frame shows full-screen photos from an album you pick.
- Scenes change on a schedule you set, by a swipe, or with a Focus filter. Before Night, a wind-down shows what got done and what moves to tomorrow.
Tiles
- Clock, with “leave by” for events that have a place, and your calendar.
- Weather from Apple Weather, which also paints the backdrop, down to rain on the glass.
- Reminders you can check off, photos, what the Music app is playing, and your home.
- Timers that ripple across the screen when they finish, and still sound when Tarn is closed.
Made to stay on
- While charging, Tarn keeps the screen on, dims to a small clock when the room is quiet, and wakes for a touch, a HomeKit motion sensor or the next scene.
- On Apple TV, the same scenes on the living-room screen, kept in step with your iPad.
- Widgets for the Home Screen, Lock Screen, StandBy and CarPlay.
